Don’t know what to write? Here’s a list of possibilities:
Counterculture: Acts of rebellion and organization, historically or present day, small or big.
Surrealism: Ways in which life is surreal, art is surreal, traditional surrealism.
“Good” and “Evil”: Explore traditional interpretations of the notions or twist them to your own meanings.
Magic/Wonder: The reclaiming of wonder or depict something awe-inspiring.
Neighbors/Connection: A sense of belonging, or being of a collective, so to speak. For example, what bridges the gap between an individual and something outside of themselves?
Time/Change/Seasons: The human experience of going through time, of evolving, of routine.
Swallowing: The art of taking something in—absorption, in a way. Think hard truths, or the act of noticing something that’s been there all along.
Art of writing: How can writing be therapeutic? How is the process of writing an art form itself, not just the means to the end product?
Surveillance: Where does surveillance exist?
Cry: Whether it is a battle cry, a cry for help, a cry of mercy or a cry of grief, the possibilities are as endless as the emotion behind it.
